Tuke Manton was commissioned to help develop the NHS Business Case on the provision of new mental health services at three sites in north London. All three projects were designed by the practice to Full Business Case and planning submission stage, working in collaboration with the executive architects, Gibberd Associates.

Budget: £4.5 m

A new building was designed and constructed to house a main reception and administrative centre; a central dining facility; a base for community mental health teams; and intensive staff housing, with additional accommodation for patients detained under the Mental Health Act.

Budget: £4.5 m

This original building housing the Nightingale Ward has been remodelled and extended to provide EMI services for patients with organic and functional diseases related to ageing.

Budget: £8.5 m

The existing purpose-built mental health unit has been extensively remodelled and extended to provide a new psychiatric intensive care unit and four adult acute mental health wards for men and women.
